Ernie Fuglevand was born in Billings and grew up in Chinook, MT before moving to Seattle to study drawing and anatomy at The Gage Academy in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood in 2004, later exhibiting work in galleries and spending his free time playing loud rock and roll in bands like Slow Elk, DoM, Danny Denial, Vacant Seas, Pay Phone. He has been interloping in the Billings arts and music community since since 2008, travling through while working in the oil and gas industry and close family ties to the area. He wrote, co-produced, and starred in the Montana independent feature film, The Delicate Nature, and appeared in the Seattle apocalyptic, punk sci-fi web series Bazooka and Kill Me To Death. He is a journeyman Ironworker with Locals 86 and 732. Ernie plays locally now in the goth-country outfit, Alttar with RainbowEater*, and painted a mural at Redd Ox 406 Events Lawn last summer for BIRD'S Wild West Walls Mural Festival, and designs show posters for local events in Billings. Ernie volunteers with the archival record label Lost Sounds Montana to collect, curate, and produce records featuring underappreciated Montana music history. Pulse 3 will be Ernie Fuglevand's first ever live painting event. **He will have prints and works for sale in addition to works completed at the event to be sold at private auction.
